TOUT LE CHANGEMENT...

Link of the Day: Nice Bristols

What a strange week. Our office is upside down and undergoing a full refurb. We have been here now for 5 years in this little room the size of a broom cupboard (as Moose put it) but it's time to expand and have some of that good old fashioned stuff called space. Everything is changing, new people are coming in and we hope to bring you the biggest change of all next month.

We can announce today that on SATURDAY 16TH AUGUST we will be hosting a Meanwhile Gap Jam at the newly built park in association with Globe Shoes, SUSU Drinks, Freestyle Skateparks and many skate companies including Death, Blueprint and many more.

Harvey Milk delivered some deep sludge last night at the Underworld surely making it the week of deaf ears. Fucked Up headlined a sweaty Water Rats alongside Fuck Shovel, Shitty Limits and Lovvers on Monday night and the place rocked. Hardcore noise makers Converge finally arrived in time for their first of 2 London shows on Monday night and bashed 500 pairs of ears with a barrage of the most brutal HC available. Live reviews from these 2 shows will appear on this site on Friday.

The Crossfire hosted Flip London demo has landed with sequences and footage for your mince pies. Check the super kids rocking Bay 66 here.

A new Moves features footage from Axel Cruysberghs,Tom Kruper, Colin Hale, PJ Ladd, Felipe Gustavo, Rick Howard and Iñigo Igarza.

NY hardcore reprobates This Is Hell graced UK shores a little while ago. Nick Calafato caught up with guitarist Rick Jimenez for a quick chat just before the band systematically laid waste to London’s Camden Barfly.

Heroin Skateboards rider Ollie Tyreman spills the beans in his first interview since joining the team. Zombie gets the best out of one of Manchester's finest skateboarders.

This week we saw The Cool Kids rap the roof off The Scala with their minimal hip hop goodness and Funeral For A Friend lap up the adoration at King's College. Our latest live reviews include The Cool Kids, Atmosphere & Brother Ali, Negative Approach, Projekt Revolution, A Day To Remember, Ben Folds and The Fall Of Troy.

This Saturday the Flip team arrived at Bay 66 in London and the youth proved the future is bright. More here.
